9-1-2008 The Northwest Blaze team has added four new players
to the roster for the 2009 season. Loosing
Kendall,
Nicole,
Breanna (who
all had to move up to 18u) from the 2008 team. More changes after
the fall 2008,
Georgie, Jenna,
Jourdan and
Lindsay moved

The addition of
four seasoned ASA players will fill in the 2009 roster with speed and
skill. All four are excellent student athletes.

Grants Pass,
Oregon, previously played ASA with the 16uA
ARK Oregon Legacy. Morgan knows how to produce wins, leading her high
school team to the large school 6A State Championship in 2008. She has
proven skills in the circle and at the plate; Morgan will make an
instant impact to the Blaze roster. Morgan has verbally committed to
play at the University
of Oregon. 7-15-09 Morgan

After watching Izzy play, you would never guess she has only played
competitive softball for a few years. She is a versatile athlete who can
play in the infield and outfield. In the fall for the Blaze, Izzy showed
her power at the plate. She has accepted a verbal offer from
Oregon
State University
to play softball.

Grants Pass,
Oregon, is one of the top players in the
state. She was voted the large school 6A Oregon High School Player of
the Year in 2008. In the 6A State Championship game Tara
crossed the plate in the bottom of the 10th inning scoring the winning
run and delivering the State Championships to the Lady Cavers.
Tara
participated in the 2008 Under Armour All-American game covering center
field. She has verbally committed to play softball at the
University
of Oregon.

“D,” class of 2010, is another
Grants Pass, Oregon player
who made an impact on the large school 6A High School State Championship
team for the Lady Cavers. She is a middle infielder who bats for high
averages. D was a team leader on the 16uA ARK Oregon Legacy team who
will bring a track record of making plays and producing RBIs to the
